Exploring Our Connections
As the COVID-19 pandemic disrupted all of our ways of life, and as travel continues to be restricted, the backStorygroup has hit pause on planning trips to Israel, and we continue to hope we'll be able to resume those soon. In the meantime, we don't have to stop exploring, learning, and connecting with one another. We can't take filmmakers, composers and other creators to Israel right now, but we can bring an insider's glimpse of a favorite part of The backStorygroup experience in Israel to you.
Our slate of programs has included "Why Do Films Need Music?" with composer George S. Clinton and music industry exec Doreen Ringer Ross; "A Conversation with Score A Score Founder Jordan Passman"; and "The Making of In Search of Israeli Cuisine" with filmmaker Roger Sherman. We'll be adding more in the coming weeks and months, and look forward to sharing these with you!

Thank you to all of our generous, wonderful, creative and inspiring collaborators during this time: from our friends and filmmakers in Israel to our supporters and fellow creatives in the U.S. We couldn't do this without you.
