Emilio Schenker is the CEO of Tadmor Entertainment, which develops, produces, and finances film and TV projects with a focus on commercial, auteur-driven projects that challenge convention. Headquartered in Herzliya, Israel, with offices in New York and Los Angeles, Tadmor is focused on becoming a bridge between Israeli talents and the International film and TV market. Under the leadership of company founder Gideon Tadmor, in June 2020 Tadmor entered a partnership with MGM Studios, described by its Chairman Mark Burnett as a partnership which "will allow us to tap into an entirely new pool of established and emerging creative talent from Israel, and we look forward exploring the immense opportunities that lie ahead for us to collaborate on global projects together.” Regarding the deal with MGM, Emilio added, “It is exciting to know that MGM shares and believes in my vision of building an Israeli successful developer, financier and producer of amazing stories only Israeli writers can create. This deal with MGM is the first cornerstone in building out our international footprint and will propel us further.”


Emilio is an acclaimed writer, producer and director, whose films have participated in numerous festivals around the world and won many international awards. During his tenure and prior, Tadmor has produced films including Only, the 2019 Takashi Doscher-directed sci-fi film starring Freida Pinto and Leslie Odom Jr.;  Becca Gleason’s SXSW debut Summer ‘03, an official selection in 2018 at SXSW; Joseph Cedar’s Norman: The Moderate Rise and Tragic Fall of a New York Fixer starring Richard Gere, an official selection at the Telluride Film Festival and the Toronto Film Festival in 2016; the dramedy Swiss Army Man starring Daniel Radcliffe and Paul Dano, an official selection at the  2016 Sundance Film Festival; and Junction 48, winner of Best International Narrative Feature at Tribeca in 2016.  


Tadmor partners with several entities to develop talent, including The Haifa Script Distillery, which is the first Israeli screenwriter lab for English language film and TV scripted formats. Launched at the Haifa International Film Festival in September 2018, the Haifa Script Distillery is an initiative of Tadmor Entertainment in partnership with Keshet International, Endeavor Content, Israel Cinema Project - Rabinovich Foundation, and in collaboration with the Haifa International Film Festival.


Emilio holds a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree from the Steve Tisch School of Film and Television at Tel Aviv University. Over the past decade, he served as the Senior Vice President of Content at the Zappa Group, Israel’s leading music concert production company. Prior to that he acted as the chief creative officer at GLZ, Israel's leading radio station.
